CKMnet is the result of a collaboration between recognized KM professional societies and training organizations. CKMnet is dedicated to providing additional opportunities for KM networking and connectivity, and to help facilitate the sharing of KM best practices which improve organizational performance and productivity.

eKC grads are amongst those eligible to join CKMnet, which includes those holding KM certifications from these recognized organizations: Knowledge Management Certification Board (KMCB)®, Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro), Global Knowledge Economic Council (GKEC), Hudson Associates Consulting, Inc., eKnowledgeCenter, KIMPS, CKIMPS, KMCI and Sveiby Knowledge Associates (SKA).

KM Certifications recognized and accepted for joining CKMnet include: Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM)™, Certified Knowledge Environment Engineer (CKEE)™, eCKM™, vCKM™, Certified Knowledge Leader (CKL)®, Certified Lessons Learned Coordinator (CLLC)™, Knowledge Management Professional (KMP)™, Certified Knowledge Management Professional (CKMP)™, Master Certified Knowledge Management Professional (MKMP)™, and CKM Instructor (CKMI)®.

Hudson Associates Consulting, Inc. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, has announced the completion of the purchase of eKnowledgeCenter.

"The acquisition of eKnowledgeCenter has been in the works for a long time and it represents a tremendous opportunity to merge training programs of two of the biggest providers of Knowledge Management training," said Dr. Dan Kirsch, president of Hudson Associates. "The tremendous capabilities in eLearning offered by eKnowledgeCenter provides a natural synergy with Hudson Associates’ innovative and Strategic Knowledge Management approach to successful Knowledge Management implementation. It is anticipated that members of eKnowledgeCenter will be soon be able to take advantage of opportunities and benefits afforded by an ongoing partnership between Hudson Associates and the Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro), the world's largest professional society dedicated to Knowledge Management, and discussions related to that are ongoing between Hudson Associates and KMPro leadership. There also exists continued collaboration opportunities between GKEC and KMCB, providing even greater world-wide recognition for certifications issued by eKnowledgeCenter/GKEC, Hudson Associates and KMPro/KMCB.
