KM Professional Development Program Overview

The eKnowledgeCenter Knowledge Management (KM) - Knowledge Environment Engineering (KEE) - Knowledge Economics (KE) Professional Development Training Program is the largest online training program in the world designed to provide education to serious knowledge-based practitioners.  More than 3500 professionals have enrolled in the program and workshops, representing organizations, governments and individuals worldwide.  The training is a combination of self-paced e-Learning courses and either a four-day face-to-face workshop or an intense online workshop.

Our programs cover the management of human knowledge systems in business and government settings.  There are two ways to receive training: e-Learning with a four day face-to-face workshop or eLearning Only.  The e-Learning Only option includes an online workshop that simulates the training provided in the face-to-face workshop.  The face-to-face and online workshops are designed to train knowledge professionals on how to plan, analyze, design, manage, and monitor a knowledge-based initiative, based on two sample types of organizations: Retail and Consulting.  The goal is to give "hands-on" exposure that enables participants to add value to their companies and clients the day they return to work.  See Face-to-Face and Online Workshop Breakdown for class details.

The Knowledge Management Certification Programs developed by the eKnowledgeCenter is managed by Hudson Associates Consulting, Inc. in compliance to certification standards enforced by the Knowledge Management Certification Board (KMCB)® of the Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro).
